Pam  Montgomery  Watercolors WELCOME to my on-line gallery of original watercolors and Limited Edition reproductions. The subject matter of my work depicts historical structures, rural settings, and old-fashioned barns BIO A self-taught artist, Pam Montgomery creatively displays life as it once was.  Her artwork reflects her love for traditional settings.  The  visual images she creates with watercolors give new life to structures, which she considers monuments to our past.  Her primary subject matter depicts historical structures, rural settings and old-fashioned barns.  Even though historical buildings and old barns may be abandoned or in various stages of disrepair, they grace our landscapes with character and history.  Many hours of concentrated painting capture the exquisite detail of these chosen subjects.  Living in the country, in a historical brick home overlooking a nature preserve, has inspired her work. Pam has been a member of the Central Ohio Watercolor Society since 1984. Her work has been exhibited in numerous juried, group, and solo art shows throughout central Ohio.  She has sold many of her paintings and commission pieces to private and corporate collectors, locally and throughout the United States. "Capturing the intricate detail of chosen subjects is what I enjoy most.  I love the terrain, the peace, the love of family and friends, and portraying the charm of the past in my painting."
